When Drum Above contacted us, they were in serious need of a full website revamp. The client wanted their website to be visually striking and engaging, provide potential clients with all the information they need, as well as have a sign-up level where users can take online drumming courses.
Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, we set out the full website architecture. This is a super important step in UX design – it ensures that information and navigation are set out in the most user-friendly way possible.
Once wireframes were approved by both client and our expert development team, we moved into development. Using a WordPress pro-theme and customising it to the clients aesthetic and CI, we built a beautiful website that filled all of our clients objectives.
But our job was not yet done. As a small business owner in the 21st century, it is imperative that potential clients can find you on the biggest search engine in the world: Google. To this end, we conducted research into the most common keywords that people search for in the “drumming” world, and crafted a metadata strategy that was implemented on the backend of the website. The metadata strategy, combined with increased on-page content on their Home and About pages has meant that Google can identify what this business is all about, and display their website to the right audience.
“Very knowledgeable in their work and help you through understanding your site and what is next. They took my grubby looking site that take 17 seconds to load to a beautiful looking site that loads in under 5 seconds.”
